The COVID-19 pandemic has now lasted over a year. Having experienced the recent third wave, we have naturally integrated the 'untact' trend into our daily lives, and QR code checks at cafes and restaurants are no longer unfamiliar.

However, the burden of repetitive evidence requests that have lost sight of the essence in online education settings and the pressure to fulfill diverse and perfect social roles while confined to our homes are not just isolated incidents; they continue to be confirmed. As an individual and researcher living through this time, I too have spent the past year experiencing trials and tribulations, attempting to understand the significance of this period, how to live in the present, and what future plans to make.

The following are four human aspects of life that have disappeared for people during this time, viewed from a long-term perspective.

  • Space: The outside world is unsettling, but spaces beyond the home are also essential.
  • Senses: We have become more sensitive, but we don't have enough opportunities to fully experience them.
  • Going Out: Purposes are limited, but the intentions behind them are clearer.
  • Relationships: The number of people and methods we maintain relationships with has decreased, but their significance has deepened.

These are considered four opportunities for companies to understand and approach the changes in the daily lives of their internal employees and target consumers in a contactless society.
