- The Roots of Anger: Still Unforgiven - Part 1
- This is the story of a physician who is still consumed by anger years after an employee embezzlement incident. We delve into the reasons why this past anger persists in the present and its impact on those around him.
Continuing from Part 1...
While paying for my parents' car at the hospital parking lot, the driver behind us rolled down his window and started yelling obscenities. The payment process wasn't difficult or slow. The driver's wife, in the passenger seat, was about to give birth and they needed to get to another hospital quickly. I was stunned, and my father, in the back seat, rolled down his window and retorted with a string of curses. He shouted at the driver, asking how dare he yell at his precious child.
Was the driver behind us angry at the car in front, or was he angry at himself for not being able to properly address the urgent situation his wife was in? Was my father angry at the driver's behavior, or was he simply acting as a protective parent?
Anger, well, it's always been a difficult subject for me to understand.
